Betty and Christine have been awarded the Chairman's Medal from Durham County Council for services to the community. This is the highest honour that Durham County Council can award to individuals and organisations for outstanding voluntary contribution to County Durham.
A huge thankyou to Joan Nicholson Chair of DCC for presenting Betty and Christine with their awards and a huge thank you also to Brenda Ruddy who took the time to nominate both for this honour.
